The LA Mission:

I have accepted an offer for a position in the Year Two Internship Program at Vintage Church in Santa Monica, CA!

I will be serving in the Connections and Discipleship department, serving the Vintage family by working with the team to create spaces for making connection, being equipped, and growing closer to Jesus. I will be part of a Pastoral cohort to be developed in leadership and teaching.

After 10 months in Santa Monica, I have helped launch Discipleship Communities, launched a Social Group, helped members of the community get plugged in, worked with the College + Young Adults team, launched a young men’s Community, participated with the Prayer Team, and saw God move through the Vintage family in beautiful ways. But, this is just the beginning!

The mission is to partner with what the Holy Spirit is doing through Vintage Church and bring radical love into a city that is hungry for the Love of Christ!

Year one was a chance to lay a foundation and grow strong roots, and I believe year two will be an opportunity to see God move in ways beyond my imagination.

This summer, I will be getting married and we will be moving out to California together! My fiancee, Dagan, is a beautiful and wise woman of God and is a powerful worship leader. We met through a handful of ministries in Metro Detroit, and God brought us together as I was moving out to California. God does some of the most beautiful things in the most unexpected of ways!

Even though she was 2,000 miles away, she has been my safe place to process, pray, and discern what God is doing. So, I am so excited to have her by my side as we build on the foundation that has been laid in the last 8 months, by following Jesus with radical devotion.

I believe God will use our marriage to glorify His Kingdom, and this season He is asking us to trust Him.

Through the internship program, a monthly stipend will be provided with a housing allowance which will cover most of the cost of a 1 Bedroom apartment near the church. Dagan will also be actively searching to step into a full-time position when she moves out here.

But, to cover all of our expenses and fulfill this 12-month mission we need to raise $17,600.
- $2,000 in moving expenses
- $15,600 in living expenses ($1,250/month)

I am also pursuing the Certification of Christian Studies through Fuller University, which requires completion of six courses in their Master’s Program. By pursuing one class a semester, I will achieve this goal in three years. But for this upcoming year it will cost $4,000 to complete two classes total.  Once the cost of living has been fundraised, the remainder will be applied to this cost!

Jesus saved me from drug addiction in the rave scene, depression, and practices of witchcraft through new-age spirituality. He has brought me into His freedom!
This is a common story for many people living in Los Angeles, and the Lord has called me to shine the Light of Jesus Christ to people desperate for the freedom of His Love. This city is hungry for Him!!!

To fulfill this mission, I need your help.
